How to play Posy
Posy is a free daily word puzzle. You get 16 words, and your job is to gather them into four little posies: groups of four that share a hidden link.
- Tap four words you think belong together, then press Submit.
- If you're right, your posy is revealed in its colour: buttercup (yellow) is the easiest, then sage, cornflower, and peony (pink), the trickiest.
- If you're wrong, you lose one of your four mistakes. "One away" means three of your four words are right.
- Find all four groups to win, then share your colour grid with friends.
Tips from regular players
- Look for the red herrings first. If five words seem to fit one group, one of them belongs somewhere else.
- Peony (pink) groups are often wordplay: hidden words, words before or after another word, or words spelled backwards.
- Use Shuffle when you're stuck. Seeing the words in a new order often helps.
